European Jobseeker: Netherlands – part III


I’m sitting in the Netherlands making the same calls, and oh, what’s this? An interview. With that I relaxed a bit, held off on the e-mails, stopped calling and took it a little easy. Did the interview, felt good about it, and stopped in Utrecht for dinner with an old friend. I did feel that I had sold myself a little short, laying out the minimum required to ease the immigration process rather than giving an honest assessment of my market value. Immigration is never a simple process as I’d find out weeks later that said company was not ready to involve itself in the complex and uncertain process.
